Coach West began his coaching career in 2009. He started at Sonora High School as the Head Sprint coach. In His First year coaching there lead the Girls and Boys Fros/Soph teams to a League Championship and Girls varsity to 2nd place. Among the team championships, Coach West created many individual champions such as the Frosh/Soph 100m Orange County Champion, and multiple individual League Champions. After His first season with the Raiders Coach West took up a position at Yorbal Linda High School as the Speed and Conditioning Trainer for Softball. Here he has developed many new skills and experience.
Coach West graduated from Concordia University Irvine in 2008 graduating with a BAS in Exercise Sports Science with an emphasis in rehabilitation. He was a member of the Track team for 3 years. Before coming to Concordia, Coach West spent his freshman year at California Baptist University and was the starting goalie for NCAA #17 ranked Water Polo team. Coach West transfered to Concordia after making an Academic decision. Coach West has a lot to offer to the coaching world. He is currently completing his Masters in Coaching and Athletic Administration at Concordia and will be staring in the Fall 2010 on his Doctor of Physical Therapy.
