I was born in Harbor City, CA in January of 1979 during an earthquake. I grew up in Carson, CA and played quarterback for Carson High School home of the world famous Carson Colts. I finished high school in June of 1997 took a year off from school and football to focus on my future. Continued school in 1998 at Los Angeles Harbor College where I played football for two seasons before transferring to Oklahoma Panhandle State University in Goodwell, OK for two more seasons. I finished School in 2003 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Health Physical Education and Recreation.

Thank you Terence, I really cannot believe how much I've gotten out of this class in just ten weeks.
The McGwire thing is not very surprising, upsetting because I was a fan, but good that he came clean. I'm interested to see the kind of relationship he will have with his hitters in St. Louis. He has some very good, professional hitters there but I wonder if anybody will dismiss his instruction because they might be skeptical of his methods.
The whole thing is very sad because of how it hurts the game.
Is there a different opinion out west where players like McGwire, Canseco, Giambi, Bonds, etc. all spent so much of their careers? I feel like I would be even more upset because these athletes cheated right under our noses and gave our teams and towns a bad rap.

When a kid works really hard all year to prepare and they cant play for some reason. Thats really disappointing to the Kid and to me.

I cannot believe how easy and convenient this is. I might have to find a way to include this in my lesson plans for the high school classes I teach. I'm already using Google Docs since we began our new semester a few weeks ago! Thanks for the great info John, everything has been amazing.
